Robbery : Surathkal native robbed of valuables including cash in Matsyagandha Express

Mangaluru: Pratima Satish Karkera, a native of Surathkal was robbed of her jewellery, valuables including cash while travelling on the Matsyagandha Express on May 22.

Prathima, a resident of Mumbai had boarded the Matsyagandha Express from Kurla Terminal. Reportedly a man, who got into the train compartment at Vidyavihar Junction made away with her vanity bag containing gold jewellery weighing 80 gms and around Rs 12000 cash. Pratima immediately alerted her family members and a complaint was filed at Thane station regarding the theft. The police are probing into the theft.
