Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face off in their final match of the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL) season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The game is a must-win affair for both sides. The team that loses on Saturday will be knocked out of the competition, while the winning side will go up to fourteen points.

Albeit qualifications to the play-off round will be dependent on the other remaining games in the tournament. Virat Kohli-led RCB have won their last three matches while Ajinkya Rahane’s RR lost their last game at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders. The biggest factor behind RCB’s recent resurgence has been the performances of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli. In the last game, all-rounder Moeen Ali too played a match-winning role. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, will be without their star batsman Jos Buttler who will miss the rest of the tournament due to national team commitments. Buttler has been the heart and soul of RR batting with five half centuries in the last six games and his absence will be a huge blow for the side which desperately needs a win to quality for the playoffs.
