Rajya Sabha to have a 4-day break from tomorrow

NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha will not have a sitting on Monday, April 3, as it decided to give an additional day off to allow members to have an extended holiday.

When the House met for the day, Deputy Chairman P J Kurien said Monday was being declared a holiday because Tuesday was a scheduled holiday on account of Ram Navami.

A holiday on Monday would mean that members would have four days off beginning tomorrow and the House will meet next on Wednesday.
