Here’s why women call out 'daddy' during sex
Screaming ‘daddy’ during sex is something of a taboo. However, according to sex expert Jacqueline Hellyer, the slip of tongue isn’t actually as problematic as it might seem initially.
According to an article published in The Sun, the psycho-sexual therapist and author told Whimm that using the nickname is just another form of role play. She said that one often finds that women who like to be ‘submissive’ in relationships — like the kind of women who’d call their partner ‘daddy’ in bed — are actually pretty high-powered in their day-to-day lives.
According to Hellyer, engaging in this role play is their way of letting go and giving in to vulnerability. Furthermore, referring to sexual partner as "daddy" also has symbolic meaning that speaks great volumes about the state of one’s relationship. Jacqueline adds, "Fathers are caring, supportive, assertive. Calling the partner ‘daddy’ is about them embracing those qualities in the relationship.” It actually revolves around making women feel safe, loved and secure.
