Ahmedabad to Mumbai in 2 hours, 70 bullet trips every day

The National High Speed Railway Corporation Limited has decided to initiate the procedure to acquire railway land between the old and new Sabarmati stations, for the bullet train station. The bullet train station will be elevated and situated between the current old and new Sabarmati stations.
The bullet train journey time between Mumbai and Sabarmati will be 2.07 hours for a fast train and 2.58 hours for a train stopping at all twelve stations en route. Bullet to start from Sabarmati, Passenger capacity will initially be 750 per train and it will be increased to 1,250 later once more coaches are added,Maximum speed of train 320kmph, and Maximum design speed 350kmph. Alignment 21km –long tunnel between Boisar and BKC, Which 7km will be below the creek; 92% of the corridor will be elevated, 6% via tunnel and balance on the ground.

Officials said the bullet train will originate and terminate at the Sabarmati station with Kalupur being the second station in Ahmedabad. NHSRC officials said the journey time between Mumbai (Bandra-Kurla Complex) and Sabarmati will be 2.07 hours for a fast train and 2.58 hours for a train stopping at all twelve stations en route.
During peak hours — 7am to 10am and 5pm to 9pm — there will be three trains every hour, or a train every 20 minutes. Two trains will depart at off-peak hours. June 2018 civil work will begin, and Status- Feasibility study completed by may 2015, and New deadline is AUG 15,2022,to coincide with 75 years of india’s independence, Earlier deadline is 2023.
