Groundnut oil eases in listless trade

Groundnut oil prices eased further in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following lower demand from stockists and retailers.

However, refined palmolein, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds oil all ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activities.In the edible section, groundnut oil moved down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 935 from Friday's closing level of Rs 940.

While refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 625 per 10 kg.Moving to the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds oil all ended unaltered at Rs 4,545, Rs 939 and Rs 770 per 10 kg, respectively.
