IT raids Jaya TV and 160 other places in Chennai

The Income Tax department is conducting raids at the premises of the Jaya TV in Chennai in connection with a case of alleged tax violation.

Jaya TV is the mouth piece of the AIADMK. Raids are also being conducted at on the Dr Namadhu MGR. IT sleuths who are conducting raids at various places have reached the T T V Dhinakaran as well. Raids are also being conducted at the Domlur residence of Pugazhendi, AIADMK Karnataka in-charge. The IT department decided to conduct the raids following allegations of tax evasion. Further the sleuths are also checking if there was any money laundering and also possible links to shell companies. Raids are also being conducted on Vivek the director of Jaya TV. In all 160 other places in TN are also being raided by the IT department. The Jaya TV is controlled by the Sasikala-Dinakaran camp. Dinakaran who was in Bengaluru is yet to reach Chennai.
