Jayalalithaa's death to be probed, says TN CM Palaniswami

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami today announced a one-man enquiry commission to probe into the death of the late AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa.

Palaniswami said an enquiry commission will be constituted under a retired judge to probe the death of Amma.He also announced that her Poes Garden house will be converted into a memorial.

The move by the EPS camp is seen as a step to placate the rival OPS camp within the AIADMK ahead of a possible merger between the two factions. OPS has been demanding an enquiry into Jaya's death.
