Azim Premji to get America's prestigious 'Carnegie' award

Wipro Chairman Azim Premji has been selected for the prestigious 'Carnegie' award for humanitarian service.Prem Zee has been selected for this award by recognizing efforts to improve the public education system in India.

The 70-year-old Premji of the Azim Premji Foundation is one of the 7 people selected for the 2017 Medal of Honor in Carnegie, awards ceremony will be held in October.

Premji, who has raised Wipro internationally, has made a lot of effort to improve public education, said the selection committee.
