On their 30th anniversary Mohanlal sing's for wife Suchitra

If you’re planning to impress your wife, you could learn a thing or two from Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who had his better half Suchitra enthralled by singing the hit number Chandanathil Kadanneduthoru Sundaree Shilpam, on the occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary.

A video with Mohanlal singing, accompanied by Charles Anthony on the guitar, that appeared online on Monday has since gone viral. The video is from their wedding anniversary get-together party. On April 28, 1988 Mohanlal married Suchitra, daughter of Tamil film producer and actor K Balaji. The couple is blessed with two children - daughter Vismaya and son Pranav, who recently made his acting debut with the film, Aadhi. With over half a dozen acting assignments across industries, Mohanlal on Monday joined the sets of new Malayalam project.

He wrote on his Facebook page: “Friends, I have joined the sets of my upcoming movie in the United Kingdom. The movie, which is yet to be titled, is directed by Ranjith and produced by Maha Subair under the banner of Varnachithra Good line productions.” Last week, it was announced that Mohanlal will be seen sharing screen space with Suriya in his next yet-untitled Tamil project with director KV Anand. Currently dubbed Suriya 37, the project is slated to go on the floors from July. In Malayalam, Mohanlal awaits the release of Odiyan and Neerali. The former is unarguably one of the most anticipated Malayalam releases of the year. He has played a pivotal role in Nivin Pauly’s Kayamkulam Kochunni.
