Nothing is well: Ranbir Kapoor is down with Typhoid

Ranbir Kapoor is not exactly going through the best of life phases. While on the career front he hasn’t seen any remarkable success for the longest time, his generally prolific love life too seems to be at a standstill at the moment. In fact, earlier this week, the 35-year-old admitted that his life is pretty “dry” currently.

And now, to add more gloom to the staidness, comes a bout of unexpected illness. The Jagga Jasoos actor has been diagnosed with typhoid, which is a huge setback as he was on a very strict and special diet to build his physique for the superhero role in Ayan Mukerjee’s Bramhastra. “Ranbir will now have to follow a medical diet and that would mean abandoning his muscle-building physical training. He would also have to skip Shabana Azmi’s ambitious fashion show at her ancestral village in Mijwan, where he was supposed to walk the ramp with Deepika Padukone,” says a source in the know. Here’s wishing Ranbir a quick recovery as well as exciting times ahead.
