If rumours are anything to go by, Mani Ratnam’s next will be a Hindi-Tamil bilingual. Also, there are rumours that he has approached Aishwarya Rai for the film, and considering the two have been in talks for years, it looks like things could materialise soon.

Meanwhile, recent developments suggest that Aditi Rao Hydari could be a part of it too. Nothing has been made official yet.In an interview, the release of Kaatru Veliyidai, Aditi had said she’d “love to work with Mani Ratnam again as he’s a magician, who creates sheer magic on screen.”
