Janardhana Reddy : Will not contest Karnataka Assembly polls

Ballari: Putting an end to speculation that he will contest the upcoming state assembly polls under a BJP ticket, former minister Gali Janardhana Reddy said he has no plans of contesting the polls but would carry out the work that the party assigns to him.

Speaking to reporters here on the sidelines of his visit to Ballari after getting the Supreme Court permission , Reddy said that he will work to ensure the victory of party candidates in the next Lok Sabha elections not only in Karnataka but also in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

“Narendra Modi-led BJP will come to power in 2019 too. Modi will be the prime minister again. I will work hard for his victory,” he said.
